    TaqMan® OpenArray® Genotyping Plates are custom designed using TaqMan SNP Genotyping Assays (pre-designed, DME and/or custom designed using the Custom Assay Design Tool). Currently, six formats are available (PDF). The OpenArray® Real-Time PCR System is a dual-use platform that supports TaqMan® Genotyping assays formatted on the TaqMan OpenArray Genotyping plates in addition to Real-Time PCR applications.
